Citi Global Markets Challenge

Do you have what it takes to work as part of a team and construct an investment portfolio across five different asset classes? Are you looking to secure a summer internship with Citi's Markets & Securities Services team?

The Citi Global Markets Challenge, operated in partnership with the University Network for Investment and Trading (UNIT), is the largest Sales & Trading competition run in Australia and one of the most competitive and well respected finance challenges in the region. Last year the Citi Global Markets Challenge attracted over 1,200 students from eight leading universities across Australia and New Zealand.

The challenge requires students in teams of 2 - 4 to construct a global active investment portfolio across equities, rates, FX, commodities and cash, and to present their rationale and risk management strategies to a panel of judges.

Successful teams will be invited to present their portfolio to a panel of judges on campus, for the Heats Round. The winning teams from this round will then present to a panel of Citi judges at the Campus Finals. A winning team from each university will then be selected to participate in the Global Finals. The Global Finals will be held at Citi’s Head Office in Sydney on May 3rd 2018, interstate teams will be flown to Sydney to participate.
