The University Network for Investing and Trading (UNIT) is the largest investing and trading society in Australia, with over 11,000 student members nationally. In recent years, we have branched out from just investing and trading and now cover all areas of finance.

We strive to provide our community of students and members with a practical financial toolkit. This is through educational seminars, professional opportunities with our sponsors, and national competitions across all participating universities. Whether you are only a novice or already have a detailed understanding of finance and trading, we believe that with UNIT, you can continue to grow your knowledge whilst forming valuable professional connections in the industry.

Membership is free for most of our participating universities, and students from any academic background are welcome to join. With membership, you will receive fortnightly newsletters and regular updates about our events when you like us on Facebook.

Exploring Legal and Financial Careers

Morgan Stanley is inviting students from a diverse array of backgrounds to apply for UNIT’s flagship Evening with Morgan Stanley event. Designed with pre-penultimate students in mind, the evening is an ideal opportunity for students early in their university journey to explore the industry and understand the breadth of careers available in finance.

Throughout the evening, Morgan Stanley representatives will share insights into their teams, career pathways and experiences across the firm. Attendees will also learn about Morgan Stanley’s recruitment process and upcoming internship opportunities before concluding the night with open-floor networking and the chance to connect directly with professionals.
